A river seen from above, with a man drifting down it: the first published iteration is a wordless nine-second film that loops forever, and the only door is the email button.
Full-bleed looping video (assets/video/river-v0.mp4, Kling 3 Pro, 1080p, 3.3 MB, tail-to-head crossfade so the loop has no seam) with a poster frame underneath so nothing flashes black. The glass email button from the previous jordanpitts.com is kept, its rim re-tinted jade and gold. Version, date and archive link sit in one dark pill bottom-left. No other words. Reduced-motion visitors get the still.
The page weight rule was met in letter (text files 8 KB) and broken in spirit (video 3.3 MB); the directive justifies it and the video lives in assets/ so the archive keeps it. Moves to repeat: a single generated shot as the whole page, no copy, one interaction. Moves to retire: none yet, this is the baseline. Anything that felt off: the man is small and slightly oblique rather than dead top-down; a future film should push the camera straighter. This is the first iteration on a live domain, shipped the night DNS moved from SiteGround to Vercel, so it is a Monday, not a Tuesday.
